Contemporary takes on old familiar favorites, melded with the Chieftains' excellent accompaniment.

The follow-up CD to their 2010 Grammy-winning recording. This virtuosic young trio explores traditional roots and old-time string music from the Appalachias and the old South. Produced by Buddy Miller, Leaving Eden is a collection of original songs inspired by southern roots music, minstrelsy songs, and tunes by Joe Thompson, Hazel Dickens, and Etta Baker.
